Course Overview
This course offers a comprehensive introduction to the Alternative Investment Funds (AIF). It addresses national and EU issues, reflecting the legal and regulatory environment, and provides a sound grounding in the principles of the AIF framework, including authorisation, investor classifications, AIF categories and common rules for fund organisations, managers and custodians. It covers the special provisions of AIFs and specific information for investors and mergers.
Training Duration

This course is ideal for anyone wishing to be introduced to the characteristics of AIFs and their respective regulatory environment. It is also suitable to professionals pursuing regulatory CPD in Financial Regulation (such as CySEC, FCA etc).
